Men gathering to connect, heal, support, ground and encourage
Brothers 'round the Fire is a regular Men's gathering in Maleny, centred around a traditional Lakota-style Sweatlodge ceremony.
Add to this an opportunity to share in a safe and confidential setting, we have a very powerful and beautiful process for healing, growth and change.
We celebrate our beautiful work each time with a nourishing feast. How does it get better than this?
We gather at 1pm in North Maleny
The address will be sent as part of your booking confirmation. You will need to bring your sweatlodge clothes (board shorts or similar), a towel, water bottle and maybe some comfortable layers of clothing to take care of any weather changes.
We will be wrapped up by about 5pm.
The energy exchange is $80 per man ($88 plus booking fee if you book and pay online)
This covers the event costs firewood, food, utilities, venue costs and tobacco for prayers
No man should miss out due to genuine financial reasons
If any brother is feeling abundant, please feel free to pay more than your own ticket price. That way I can have a kitty going to help out anyone who, for whatever reason, cannot afford to pay their own way.
Any brother in this situation should contact me confidentially and see what can be done.
Youngsters are also welcome
If you have a young bloke (12 to 17) in your care, they are most welcome to participate for half price.
The proviso is just that they participate fully in the offerings, or else that they are looked after by their supervising adult. So, if they decide to leave the Lodge, you will have to leave also to look after them.
